Cookie Policy

ResaleStudio uses one cookie and a little browser storage, all of it needed for the site and app to work. There are no analytics or advertising cookies. This page lists exactly what is stored and how to clear it.

What cookies and local storage are

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to keep, so the site can remember something about you between pages or visits. Local storage is a similar space in your browser that only the site which wrote to it can read. Both live on your device, not on our servers, and you can clear them at any time.

The cookie we use

That is the only cookie ResaleStudio sets. It is first-party (it belongs to our domain), it is never sent to anyone else and it holds nothing but the word “light” or “dark”.

What we keep in local storage

Your sign-in token. When you sign in, the app keeps a token in local storage so that you stay signed in as you move between pages. It is removed when you sign out, and it expires on its own after a short time, after which you sign in again. If you are an administrator, a second token is kept for the admin area in the same way.
Display preferences. A copy of your theme choice, and any dashboard goals you set. These are conveniences; losing them changes nothing in your account.

Nothing in local storage is read by anyone other than the ResaleStudio app in your browser.

Analytics and advertising

None today. ResaleStudio has no analytics service, no tracking pixels and no advertising partners, so no third party sets cookies through our site or app. The notice you see on your first visit is there to tell you this, not to ask for consent to tracking.

If we add analytics later. We will update this policy and the cookie notice first, before any analytics cookie is set, and we will tell you how to opt out.

How to clear or block them

You can delete the theme cookie and our local storage from your browser’s settings. The exact path varies by browser, but it is usually under Privacy and security → Cookies and site data (Chrome and Edge), Privacy → Manage Website Data (Safari) or Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data (Firefox). Look for our domain in the list.

Clearing them signs you out and resets your theme to your system’s default; nothing in your ResaleStudio account is affected. If you block storage for our domain entirely, you will not be able to stay signed in, so the app will not work.
